
It seems that Canadian users who are starting to purchase their iPhone 4s today are noticing that their Apple smartphones come unlocked out of the box, but there is a huge caveat to that: unless you specifically pay the full, unsubsidized retail price for the iPhone at an Apple Store in Canada, iPhone 4s purchased through Canadian carriers will get locked up when the phone gets activated through iTunes.
