When walking past this organ, you’ll be forgiven if you thought it was just any old organ, and upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that this organ is wired very differently. Dubbed the Chipophone, its creator ripped out all the original innards and hooked up the keys via a bunch of 74HC165 chips, daisy-chained together to an Atmega88 controller chip. The result is that the Chipophone is capable of churning out 8-bit sounds, letting you relive all those nostalgic moments in your childhood. Check out a video of it in action after the jump.
