Shuttle Unveils Its SH55J2 Barebones Computer

Shuttle has unveiled its latest compact barebones PC, the XPC Barebone SH55J2, which is the first to support the socket 1156 CPUs, which includes Intel’s Core i3, i5, and i7 processors. It offers some nice video output capabilities such as HDMI and VGA output, a PCI Express socket that can accommodate a dual-slot discrete graphics card. If you’re a USB junkie, there are nine USB 2.0 ports for you to enjoy, an eSATA/USB combo connection, Gigabit Ethernet, memory card reader, along with digital and analog audio outputs. Aside from that, it also sports a 300W power supply, and a heatpipe cooling system. The SH55J2 is now shipping in Europe, and is priced at £250 ($380).
