Details Of Dell's UltraSharp 30-inch IPS Display Surfaces

Recent leaks have confirmed that Dell will begin shipping a 30-inch monitor with a 10-bit in-plane switching (IPS) panel that boasts a juicy 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. The UltraSharp U3011 monitor sports a high-quality panel from LG that is capable of offering 1.07 billion colors, and will be pre-calibrated from the factory. Features of it include a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 7ms gray-to-gray pixel response time, and a 270cd/m2 brightness. Connections include a VGA connector, two DVI inputs, one component, two HDMI, and a full-sized DisplayPort input. Pricing information wasn’t revealed just yet, but the U3011 monitor is expected to arrive in October.
