Acer Liquid Metal spotted, looks like T-1000 in disguise

The upcoming Acer Liquid Metal has been spotted in the wild, where the entire body seems to be made out of some sort of metal (aluminum, perhaps?), but in all probability it will not be cut from a single block to have that unibody look which the iPhone 4 is famous for. We do know that it will ship with Android 2.2 Froyo, so that would clearly remove any headache of you waiting for a firmware update, coupled with Acer Shell 4.0. A Qualcomm MSM7230-1 800MHz chipset runs proceedings from within, where it will also feature an Adreno 205 GPU alongside 512MB RAM and an equal amount of ROM. As for its touchscreen display, it will be rather small compared to other high end handsets these days, although your eyes still won’t complain about the 3.61″ WVGA TFT LCD 800 x 480 resolution. Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity is supported to keep up with the times, alongside a camera of unspecified megapixels with flash. We do wonder whether other colors apart from black and silver will be released in due time.
