Peek Rolls Out Peek 9 Email Device

Don’t want to purchase a smartphone but want to be able to read your emails on the go? Peek has just launched its Peek 9 email reader, a device which is touted to run about nine times faster than the Peek Pronto and boasts better reception for its T-Mobile 2G data connection. The Peek 9 is also a multi-app device that offers Google Maps, Facebook and Twitter. Peektop Apps is the device’s app platform, giving it extended functionalities, similar to Apple’s App Store. You can shell out $70 to purchase the device, or pay $100 for the device and two months of service without a contract. Service will continue to cost you $10 a month for unlimited data for the apps Peek supports and also unlimited SMS.
