Don’t want to purchase a smartphone but want to be able to read your emails on the go? Peek has just launched its Peek 9 email reader, a device which is touted to run about nine times faster than the Peek Pronto and boasts better reception for its T-Mobile 2G data connection. The Peek 9 is also a multi-app device that offers Google Maps, Facebook and Twitter. Peektop Apps is the device’s app platform, giving it extended functionalities, similar to Apple’s App Store. Service will continue to cost you $10 a month for unlimited data for the apps Peek supports and also unlimited SMS.
