Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH4 introduced

Sanyo is certainly in the forefront where highly portable camcorders are concerned, and they have just expanded their Xacti line with yet another model – the VPC-GH4. This model will sport the standard minicam body as well as carry Sanyo’s double-range zoom feature that offers one button switching between wide-angle and telephoto. It is capable of shooting High Definition video alongside a maximum optical zoom of 10x for video. Not only that, a high-speed mode ensures you will not miss one bit of action regardless of your subject. Want to take stills? No problems, as the VPC-GH4 is full well capable of handling 10-megapixel digital photos with up to 5x optical zoom for added versatility. When connected to an Internet-enabled computer, you can always upload captured videos and photos to various social media sites such as YouTube, Facebook, and Picasa, while generating links for use on Twitter. Other hardware specifications include a 2.7-inch LCD display and an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot. Expect this puppy to hit the market later this month for $200 a pop.
