Pantech Android phone ready to hit South Korea

The Android entourage in South Korea has received yet another addition to the family in the form of the Pantech IM-A690S. While it hasn’t been made official just yet, we do know that it will arrive in that part of the world next week via Sky. Powered by Android 2.2 Froyo, this smartphone will come equipped with a 3.5” WVGA AMOLED display at 800 × 480 resolution, alongside a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, Wi-Fi connectivity, 4GB of internal memory, 512MB RAM, assisted GPS navigation and the staple T-DMB TV tuner. No idea on pricing, but don’t expect to see this arrive at the FCC anytime soon.
