Those who travel by coach will find that the level of quality differs from one operator to another even though the price might be the same, but that is to be expected. What we’re more interested in would be the quality and comfort of the coach in question, as forking out just a few more dollars should be well worth the price since one would arrive at the destination in a more well rested state. Willer Express, running from Osaka all the way to Tokyo, will seat a mere dozen folks – and with so few people on board, this means each of them will be able to bask in the comfort of their own personal relaxation pod, complete with a seat which reclines 140 degrees, a personal entertainment system, free Wi-Fi connectivity, dedicated power outlets, and high partitions that separate you from your other passengers for that added touch of privacy.

Of course, when it comes down to the speed and convenience of taking an airplane, the latter has pesky security checks to go through although the former might just get stuck in a gridlock for hours on end if there is an accident or anything untoward. $130 is the asking price for a one-way, six or seven hour trip, being a whole lot cheaper and more luxurious compared to a bullet train, although the train might get you to your destination in just two hours thereabouts. If it were up to you, which would you choose?
