Life is full of twists, turns and surprises, where some of them are unexpected, while the others might range from throwing a spanner in the works to actually helping you out when you thought that there is no further way to solve a particular dilemma. There has been word on the grapevine that the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update will be heading for the Droid 2, Droid 2 Global and Droid Pro, and now we have word that the Droid Pro will be the first one to receive such an update among the three models.

Droid 2 owners would be disappointed though, since there doesn’t seem to be any semblance of an update on Motorola’s servers at the moment.
