The Olympus PEN E-PM1 is the smallest camera of the new PEN lineup that launched today. With a size comparable (4.31 x 2.50 x 1.46 inch excluding protrusion) to the recently unveiled Panasonic GF3 (4.24 x 2.64 x 1.28 inch), it offers the new 12.3 megapixel Live MOS sensor, the fast auto-focus system, features a 3-inch 460,000 pixel display, enhanced low light performance with ISO 12,800 and full HD 1080i video recording (fine mode at 20 Mbps!) with Dolby Digital sound.

The most impressive feature of the whole new PEN family is the fast auto-focus combined with the fast shutter response (less than 60 milliseconds), ideal for shooting sports action.The camera packs a long list for impressive features including a brad choice of art filters, smart eye-detection and high contrast correction. The Olympus PEN E-PM1 comes with the MSC M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED m14-42mm II R f3.5/5.6 Zoom Lens, and a large choice of colors are available, pricing and availability have not been released yet.
