Handheld gaming consoles we are familiar with – the Sony PSP as well as Nintendo 3DS (with its very popular predecessors, the DS Lite and the Game Boy range as well) having made their mark on the market for many years now. What if you could lug around that home-based console? Yes, that’s right – we’re talking about bringing your Xbox 360 or Sony PS3 on the go without having to worry about finding a large screen TV to hook it up to.

The GAEMS G155 – which incidentally stands for Gaming and Entertainment Mobile Systems, is one heavy-duty briefcase that has an integrated display to literally get you started right out of the box. The console will be stashed inside, where it remains in place securely thanks to a couple of wide fabric fasteners straps.

There is a short HDMI cable that accompanies the unit, where it will send signals from your console to the display, while a couple of pouches help stash away your power cords and perhaps a controller or two. This $299 unit will support the Xbox 360 and PS3, so Wii owners will just have to look for another solution simply because the Wii lacks HDMI support. Would you trade gaming on a big screen TV for a 15.5″ LED display with some portability?
