Toshiba has just announced the addition of a new device to its Thrive Tablet family. Called the Thrive 7″ Tablet, it is smaller than its predecessor, the Thrive 10″ Tablet. The Toshiba Thrive 7″ Tablet will feature, like its namesake, a 7″ (1280 x 800) display, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, a Mini USB port, Micro HDMI port, Micro SD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The tablet will be available in 16GB or 32GB capacities, though there’s no word on pricing yet. The tablets will be available November 2011. You can head over to the Toshiba website to sign up to be notified once it goes on the market.
