Sometimes I do marvel at those hardware manufacturers from China who come up with devices that lack visual appeal and build quality, but they do pack in most of the relevant features that a user would want – from the hardware point of view, of course. The Void phone watch is one such example – it is not a looker, and yet it boasts quadband support to make it usable basically just about anywhere in the world if you want to go all Dick Tracy from now on.

Apart from quadband connectivity, you will also be able to access the watch as well as manipulate its menus and functions via the built-in touchscreen display. Bluetooth support is also thrown into the mix, in addition to it being a less than average (most phone watches are anyway, so I am going out on a limb to lump this in the same category) portable media player. Interesting fact is an e-book reader has been included – on a screen that small, I’ll give it a pass.
