Most of us living in developed countries take clean drinking water for granted – it is so easy to purchase bottled water at a convenience store that operates round the clock, and if you are too lazy to go outside, you can always drink straight from the tap – although some governments recommend you to boil the water first. For those who prefer to head out to the great outdoors, then you might want to bring the CamelBak All Clear water purification device with you. The All Clear system is made up of a 0.75 liter Tritan plastic bottle that is BPA-free, where all you need to do is fill it up from any water source, and cover it with a cap. The cap used here is no ordinary cap, as it holds a UV-C light and controller which can turn a full bottle of potentially hazardous water into potable water in a matter of just one minute.

The UV cap itself runs off a couple of two rechargeable Li-Ion batteries that can be juiced up via USB, and is capable of handling around 80 cycles of purification on a full charge. The bulb has been rated for 10,000 cycles, making this $99 device worth a purchase if you tend to go camping a whole lot.
