If you’re in the market for a compact digital camera, you might be interested in taking a look at the recently announced Rollei Powerflex 800, a compact camera that packs a 14MP Sony sensor, 12.5x optical zoom and will also come with the ability to capture video in 720p HD quality. The camera also sports face recognition, 22 different shooting modes, a super macro mode that allows for shooting anywhere between 1cm-30cm along with a night mode that will allow users to take images in low-light conditions without the need for flash.
The Rollei Powerflex 800 is expected to be made available come early April and will retail for €199.95 and will be available in black, red, or silver and will come with a nylon bag with matching colors, a wrist strap and a 4GB SDHC memory card. Not the most powerful camera we’ve seen to date, but it should be good enough to get the job done without breaking the bank.
