ION Audio, the brilliant makers of the iCade arcade cabinet, announced early this year at the CES that it will be launching a new set of flagship gizmos for the year 2012. One of them is the iCade Core, which is a cool iPad dock with a set of buttons and an arcade stick. Contrary to ION’s previous accessory, the arcade cabinet, the iCade Core has a better feel as far as gameplay is concerned.

So we were very thrilled when we just got a word that the iCade Core will be arriving sometime in June in the U.K. The pricing has been revealed too. This cool accessory will cost you £49.99, roughly around $81, or probably $79.99 based on the trend.

Then there’s the iCade Mobile too, which is ingeniously modeled after the PSP. Its primary function is to burn all your fingers while you play games on your iPhone or iPod touch. Similar to iCade Core, it also has the trademark joystick and a nice button pad. iPhone users in the U.K. will also have the lucky chance to grab one of these sometime in mid-June. The price will be the same as that of the iCade Core for the iPad. Cheers!
