Doom 3 BFG Edition arriving in North America October 16th, Europe October 19th

Towards the end of May, we reported that id Software had announced that they would be bringing Doom 3 back as part of the BFG Edition. At the time of announcement, they did not mention as to when the game will be arriving. Well the good news for Doom fans is that the game will be landing on the 16th of October in North America and October 19th in Europe. The game will be playable on both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 along with the PC, and will be priced at $39.99 for the PS3/Xbox 360 and $29.99 for the PC. In case you missed our earlier coverage, Doom 3 BFG Edition is basically Doom 3 repackaged with the Resurrection of Evil DLC and The Lost Mission. Additionally both Doom 1 and Doom 2 will be packaged as part of the bundle as well, giving players the chance to relive the trilogy. So, who’s excited about the Doom 3 BFG Edition?
