If you’ve ever played World of Warcraft, then you’re probably familiar with how when the expansions were released, players could not access the new areas, or the new races or the new classes unless they bought the expansion. The good news is that Blizzard has relaxed their stance on that matter and for the upcoming expansion, Mists of Pandaria, Blizzard has announced via the World of Warcraft forums that when Patch 5.0.4 rolls out, players will be able to access all the different races in the game no matter which version or which expansion of the game they own. So if you’re deciding whether it’s worth your money by investing in expansion catch up, at the very least you will get to try all the races before making your decision. Mists of Pandaria is scheduled for a 25th of September release and you can check out its recently released cinematic trailer here.
