japanesemousepadThe land of the rising sun has again brought us an ingenious product that we didn’t realize we needed because, well, we probably don’t need it. Unless your wrists get cold while you’re typing. It’s a USB-powered mousepad that includes a blanket of sorts to go over your hand. It’s a take on traditional Japanese futon bedding, which normally includes a heated quilt. In the mouse pad version, the heated quilt goes over your hand and forearm, warming them to 122 degrees. They cost 1980 yen each, which is about $25. Not bad for a novelty that you’ll only probably use once.

Go buy them over at thanko.jp.
