If you’re a Canon fan then you might be interested to learn that according to the folks at Canon Rumors, it seems that come towards the end of March, Canon could be making an announcement for a new DSLR camera. Unfortunately it is not clear as to what camera Canon will be announcing, but some are speculating that the announcement might be related to a possible successor to the Canon EOS 60D, the EOS 70D.

While the exact specifications of the EOS 70D have yet to be revealed, the existence of the camera was confirmed by Canon’s Chief Executive at the start of February. A timeframe was not given but earlier rumors back in 2012 suggested that the EOS 70D along with other Canon DSLR cameras (7D MK II and 700D) could be seeing an announcement in 2013, so for all we know this alleged announcement at the end of March could be for either of these cameras. We’ll be taking this with a grain of salt, but check back with us then to see if there are any details to be had.
