Wolfenstein: The New Order Available On PS4, PS3

wolfenstein-new-orderThey say that good things come to those who wait, so if you have exhibited this particular virtue while hoping that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be able to live up to its expectations, then your wait has ended. Wolfenstein: The New Order has just launched for both the Sony PS4 as well as the previous generation Sony PS3 consoles. Sure, the game will not be as “revolutionary” as it once was when it first hit DOS computers all those years ago, but it does look as though the gist of the gameplay remains rooted and true to its humble beginnings, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

One thing is for sure though, Wolfenstein: The New Order is said to be more than the traditional shooter. It so happens to be an action-adventure tour de force, and is a whole lot more than killing off Nazis. Touted to be a story-driven game experience which will sport a range of environments and characters as well as gameplay styles that are not normally found in standard first-person shooters, one will be able to “play” through drama, humor, and even love stories.

We do know that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be geolocked, and hopefully those who placed a pre-order for the game would be able to enjoy the various bonuses that come along with it. If you are still in two minds about Wolfenstein: The New Order, you can always check out the trailer as well as the gameplay video before you make up your mind. [Press Release]
