freedompop-libertyIn order to be part of FreedomPop’s celebration of their first year anniversary, the first completely free mobile service in the world that comes with free voice, text and data intends to make gadgets all the more affordable to the masses – first of with the introduction of the FreedomPop Liberty that costs less than a Benjamin, now how about that?

The FreedomPop Liberty happens to be a 7” Android-powered tablet that sports 4GB of internal memory, while carrying Wi-Fi connectivity to boot. Since it carries a price tag that is a mere $89, you can be sure that there is no LTE connection inside this deal. However, those who are too used to having an LTE connection of their own wherever they go can rely on the FreedomPop Frenzy, which is also 7” in size, except that this sports LTE connectivity in addition to Wi-Fi support, and it costs just $10 more compared to the FreedomPop Liberty, now how about that for affordability?

It does look as though FreedomPop intends to look into the entry level market with the introduction of the FreedomPop Liberty as well as the FreedomPop Frenzy, and if you are in the market for a brand new tablet without requiring too much initial outlay, these look like winners. [Press Release]
