Apple is certainly one of the leading technology companies in the world, especially in terms of innovation, and theirs is a story of determination coupled with some exceptionally talented people at the helm pulling it through some difficult and dark days. Having said that, the environment in which such creativity is bred is also important, which is why Apple continues to work on their Apple Campus 2 which is scheduled to be complete when 2016 comes around. That is still some time away, but a drone owner who has a cat to kill, so to speak, decided to fly a drone over the new Apple Campus 2 site and capture what’s going on down there.

The last glimpse that we got from the massive project was in August, and since then, what has changed? This diamond in the rough has the outline of the so-called “Apple Spaceship” drawn up, and it is starting to take shape courtesy of the laid down concrete as well as more visible infrastructure.

Upon completion, expect the new Apple Campus 2 to be able to house approximately 13,000 Apple employees within, where it will be 4 stories in height and have close to 2.8 million square feet of space. This is one $5 billion dollar project that is sure to elicit plenty of wows when it is completed.
