How can something like an ordinary piece of luggage get any better? Of course, the clever implementation of certain materials would play a role here – including lighter and yet more durable material would be of utmost importance, taking into consideration how at some airports, luggage isn’t really handled all that well – even with a “Fragile” sticker emblazoned across it. Luggage manufacturer Delsey has stepped up a notch with their latest Pluggage prototype, where you can select from various high tech features before it is manufactured.

Among the more useful choices would include auto-weight, which would feature an accompanying app that informs you on how much the entire suitcase weighs – its contents included, so that you do not have to lug around another gizmo (the luggage scale) on your travels. An instant battery reload would let you charge a phone just in case there are no power outlets available, while onboard detection would see the app inform you once your luggage has made its way safely on-board – don’t ask us how it does that, and which database it is connected to, but it knows!

Pretty unique, don’t you think so? Chances are 007 would travel with one of these…
