Republic Wireless today announced that it will launch a new beta plan in the coming days which will pay users back for data that they’ve not used by the end of the cycle. Users will be paid back for all unused cellular data each month so they will truly pay for what they use. Other carriers like T-Mobile roll over unused data which users can tap into next month, Republic Wireless has truly thought outside the box with this new beta plan.

Republic Wireless CEO David Morken said that the carrier’s customers told it that they wanted more control on how much cellular data they pay for, so it tailored a plan based on those wishes.

The carrier’s data reveals that more than eighty percent of its subscribers use less than a gigabyte of cellular data each month, so it designed its new plan to pay them back for any unused cellular data left at the end of the month.

Aside from this, in the coming months Republic Wireless is also going to test new products which include cellular-to-Wi-Fi handover, seamless multi-device communications and support for multiple carrier cellular networks.

Soon Republic will also allow its customers to test new phones before they’re launched on its network.
