z630-leakWhere the world of smartphones is concerned, you can be sure that Acer is not one name that you would rattle off your tongue right from the get go. That is to be expected, however, taking into consideration how their smartphones in the past have not always been all that attractive as opposed to what is on the market. Still, this does not mean that they have thrown in the towel, as Acer still does churn out smartphones, and one of their latest devices do seem to be known as the Acer Liquid Z630, with majority of its hardware specifications having leaked out via a benchmark database.

In other words, a prototype device of the Liquid Z630 ran through the benchmark gauntlet, allowing the world to check out just what this bad boy packs underneath the hood. At first glance, it does seem as though the Acer Liquid Z630 will reside comfortably in the mid-range scheme of things, as it sports a 5.5” 720p resolution touchscreen, an 8MP shooter at the back with LED flash, an 8MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, Bluetooth connectivity, a compass, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a gyroscope.

Android 5.1 Lollipop will be the operating system of choice while MediaTek’s MT6735 chipset that has a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and ARM Mali-T720 GPU will keep things humming along nicely. Do expect it to be rather affordable when it is finally released, taking such specifications into consideration.
