ps4-remote-playJust a few days ago, we brought you word that Sony will be introducing a new firmware update for their battle hardened console, the Sony PS4, in order to bump up the firmware number to version 3.50. In fact, this particular update would see game streaming introduced for both PC as well as Mac platforms, now how about that for inter-platform co-operation? However, there is a whole lot more than meets the eye, as we have found out that the PS4 firmware 3.0 will arrive with a fair number of hidden features.

In the unveiling of these hidden features in the 300MB firmware update, it looks like one will be able to limit the number of party members from two to eight, as well as playing nice with the console’s USB media player to boot. Apart from that, one will also be able to disable the screenshot on-screen notification (which can be found in Settings under Notifications), hence letting one snap multiple screenshots in a row without having to go through the tedium of checking out the irritating pop-up and yet being able to hear the sound. In Live from PlayStation, the gamer can also go through the games list and pin up to a trio of titles to the top.

Do you like what firmware 3.50 has brought to the Sony PS4
