It has been a while since Samsung came out with a Windows-powered tablet. Samsung launched the Galaxy TabPro S some eight months ago and according to a new report, the company is now working on a successor to this tablet. The Galaxy TabPro S2 is expected to feature the latest processors from Intel and it’s likely that the tablet may also receive 4G LTE support.
According to the report, four different models of the Galaxy TabPro S2 might be offered, processors and other internal components might be the differentiating factors between these different models.
The company is expected to keep the Super AMOLED display size to 12 inches like the original tablet and the successor may even have the same metal body. The biggest changes will undoubtedly be made under the hood.
Samsung’s new Windows 10-powered tablet may feature the latest 7th generation Intel Core M processors and upgraded RAM for a nice performance boost. Expect it to have detachable keyboard support like its predecessor.
There’s no word as yet on pricing and availability. Samsung does have an event coming up as part of IFA 2016 in Berlin but it’s unclear at this point in time if the company is going to launch the Galaxy TabPro S2 at this event.
