amazon logoAmazon’s products and services have expanded over the years, going from being an online bookstore to an online store that sells just about everything, and in recent times we’re seeing Amazon become a delivery company where they will sell and deliver you fresh groceries, and now it seems that the company wants to clean your home as well.

According to two job listings spotted by The Seattle Times (via Engadget), it looks as though Amazon could be considering launching a housekeeping service for its Prime members. One of the jobs is a recruitment for “Amazon Assistants” which has been described as “experts in helping Amazon customers keep up their home.”

It further describes the role as helping customers with “tidying up around the home, laundry, and helping put groceries and essentials like toilet paper and paper towels away.” If you think about it, it’s basically some kind of housekeeping service, right? Now obviously the job listing isn’t enough to clean the home of every Prime member, so it sounds like for now Amazon could be conducting some kind of experiment.

Whether or not it will be fully realized into a service that will be offered to Prime members remains to be seen, but what do you guys think? Would a housekeeping service be something that finally makes you subscribe to Prime (if you haven’t already)?
