Formula 1 fans waiting for the latest addition to the franchise will soon be able to start playing the new title. It was confirmed a few months ago that F1 2018 is going to be released in August. Ahead of the title’s release, the F1 2018 PC system requirements have now been confirmed.

The CPU and GPU requirements for the game are relatively low which means that gamers won’t require a very powerful gaming machine to run the title. However, those who desire high resolution and smooth frame rates would obviously require a more powerful machine.

The minimum PC requirements for F1 2018 according to the game’s Steam page include a 64 bit processor and operating system such an Intel Core i3 2130 or AMD FX 4300 and Windows 7 and up. Also required is 8GB of RAM, NVIDIA GT 640 or AMD HD 7750 graphics, 50GB of available storage space, and a broadband internet connection.

The recommended specs include Intel Core i5 8600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580 graphics. Also required is 50GB of available space, a broadband internet connection, and 64 bit versions of Windows 7 and up.

F1 2018 is going to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 24th.
