Vodafone, Linksys, and Cisco Systems have launched their 3G/UMTS Router that provides hi-speed mobile connectivity for those on the move. Up to 5 people can use the wireless LAN capability via Vodafone’s 3G network. Launched in Spain first, the 3G/UMTS router will debut in Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Sweden, and the UK subsequently. It is a portable, cost effective method that bodes well for road warriors who demand connectivity at all costs.
