Emgeton Mini One - Windows Powered iPhone Clone
Posted on Aug 14, 07 10:27 AM PDT

We’ve received a note saying that this Mini One anti-iPhone was coming out at the end of this year. The most notable point is that it has a 720x480 display, which is quite amazing for a 3.3 inch size. Emgeton (a Czech company) claims that this phone is powerful enough to record (and compress) video at 30 frames per second. Finally, it is powered by Windows Mobile 6, which makes me ask: since when does Windows Mobile look so sexy !? This doesn’t look like Windows Mobile. Interesting fact: the display shows Asian characters, hinting at a possible first release in Asia.
Other specs:
- GSM
- Touch-screen
- 3 MegaPixel Camera
- BlueTooth
- TV Out

Ii looks like Emgeton is the company that will commercialize it and Meizu is the one manufacturing it (and design it, I assume). Just like HTC, Meizu will sell its products as a "white label" brand.

Yeah... that isn't made by a czech company, it's made by meizu in China... that would be why it has chinese characters on it. Any czech company that claims to have a product called the miniOne needs to double check on a few things
