Hearing aids that are almost invisible

Wearing a pair of hearing aids is definitely a blow to some people, as that means displaying an external sign of ageing (assuming gray hairs or a bald sheen have not made their appearances yet). Phonak Group from the Switzerland aims to make wearing hearing aids a more comfortable idea with it's new line of Personal Communication Aids that comes in various styles and colors. They're barely visible (which is good) and works great when amplifying high-pitched sounds like consonants and rustling paper that are typically more difficult to hear. Unfortunately, these hearing aids fall in the price range from $1,500 to $3,500 which pretty much puts them out of range for most people.

I am trialing Delta 4000 after 0 years of wearing in canal aids which I was unhappy wh.Tey caued irrittion in the ears & were not effective in screening background noise.
The trial has been remarable. After 4 days it has shon me watI have been missing.I can cominicate ith my grand-chilren,participate in bussiness meetings without embarrasing myself with misunderstandings or requests for repeats. My only critismis th the batter life of 2 days seems very short & makes the aids expensive to operate, but my ordiologist advise he can solve this with an alternaive battery. I have no reason to disbelieve him,so I am a strong advocate for Delta as the logical solution for so many people with hearing impairent.

That is the normal price for digital hearing aids these days. Most insurance plans don't cover hearing aids, either. Welcome to the world of the hearing impaired.
