Sansa Clip – the Apple Shuffle killer?
Posted on Aug 25, 07 11:30 AM PDT

The Sansa clip is yet another piece of technology that’s going to make my life better, especially at the gym.
I hate to use my iPod video there: it’s big and heavy and I dislike having the headphones cable go from my pants/shorts pocket. The obvious solution is to get an iPod Shuffle and clip it on my shoulder or something, but the !@#$%^ doesn’t support FM radio (most gyms have TV broadcasting the audio over FM). Also, the Shuffle is blind (no display) and dumb (shuffle) – but it’s good looking.
In short, the Sansa Clip is a better alternative to the iPod Shuffle, but it’s not nearly as sexy.

I am the proud owner of a clip from www.shopsansa.com and I love it. This thing has all of the features you could need in a small MP3 player, including things you don't need but want. like the voice recorder and FM radio.

I'm an Apple fanboy since 1985, with 3 iPods and 6 Macs rattling round the house, but I don't have any problems with the Sansa visually or with what it sets out to do and be. Just how easy it is to use (compared to any iPod) may be another matter.
