Spykee is introducing the Spykee Vox and the Spykee Miss, each targeted at a specific gender, it seems. Each robot has an iPod dock, but it is said to be compatible with other mp3 players as well – but I’d like to see the integration with less popular players.
Vox and Miss are designed to obey voice commands in English, French and Spanish (one language at a time) and can use its infrared module to command many appliances (TV, stereo…). The user can further customize it by creating new motions and sounds in a PC, or a Mac.
Last year, Spykee showed the Erector, a similar looking robot with a webcam. The question is: is it going to hit the market anytime soon? Homepage
