Creative's latest Sound Blaster X-Fi notebook ExpressCard is meant for folks who want something much better compared to standard integrated audio found in majority of notebooks these days that have an unoccupied ExpressCard slot. The X-Fi is able to up-sample MP3 playback to 24-bit, 48kHz output, while CMSS-3D processing will recreate surround sound effects whenever you listen using your headphones. For folks running on a gaming notebook, the EAX Advanced HD format ensures gaming sound effects are supported for enhanced gameplace. If you're a huge movie buff, then Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround formats work great while watching DVD. You can pick up the Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook for $90, and each purchase is bundled with earphones with a built-in microphone.
