Kensington SlimBlade Trackball Mouse
Posted on Jan 21, 09 10:18 AM PDT

Trackballs used to be in vogue when they were first released, most notably for the novelty factor, but with time people realized that mice were much easier to use - unless you have not enough real estate to move it around, that is. This situation is pretty common in factories with computers along the production line, and trackballs are one of the more popular ways to control the on-screen cursor. Nice to see Kensington put their heart and soul into the SlimBlade trackball device mouse - it features a quartet of buttons and an extremely slim silver chassis. You can choose between media control, view control, and cursor modes. The Kensington SlimBlade works with both PC and Mac platforms, and is up for pre-order at $130 a pop.
