Windows 3.1 Runs On Nokia N95
Posted on Feb 24, 09 08:37 AM PDT

While we know that cell phones these days harness far more computing power than desktops of old, we guess it has never really sunk in that we would see Windows 3.1 run on the Nokia N95. The installation of Windows 3.1 on this platform is not native, but it still chugs along nicely for the Symbian version of DOSbox. It took developer Marcin-PRV just one day to get the whole process going, where the operating system will render not only at the correct resolution but the right color as well. Cursor control seems to have been built in, while applications work as they're supposed to. Anyone for Minesweeper?
