iPad Developers Get To Test Out The iPad Under Heavy Security

Details of Apple’s hush-hush security measures have come up again, as the company seems to love to work in secrecy. Word is out that some developers have received iPads to test their applications on, but apparently they had to jump through quite a few hoops in order to get a unit. Apparently testers were required to promise to keep the unit isolated in a room with blacked-out windows, not to mention that the iPad must remain tethered to a fixed object. Just to make sure that they comply, Apple won’t send out the iPad until potential partners send photographic evidence that they’ve complied. We’re certainly looking forward to getting our iPad when it’s released, so stay tuned!
