| This robot can help fight depression |
This furry robot is the Paro-Chan and it is the first of its kind to be recognized to be effective in fighting depression and improving spirits.
The robot reacts to light and sounds by emitting a sound and moving its body and eyelids. It can also remember words, like its owner name.
It will cost around 350,000 yens, and will be initially produced in limited quantities (200 units).
