Odys MP-X10 goes on up on the nano

The Odys MP-X10 looks like a distant cousin of the iPod nano, but it does warrant a mention as mom used to tell us not to judge a book by its cover. The MP-X10 dropped the click wheel look on its 3.5″ x 1.6″ x 0.29″ body and comes in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB capacities. Not only do you get MP3, WMA, and WAV file format support, the MP-X10 also comes with an integrated FM radio, a text reader, a voice recorder, video and photo playback, and everybody’s favorite puzzle game – Tetris. The display leaves something to be desired though, weighing it with just 65k colors and 128 x 128 pixels. One also wonders why did Odys sneak in a 2.5mm headphone jack. Thankfully, it ships with a 3.5mm adapter. Choose from black and white colors. The 1GB model retails for approximately $87.
