Talk about a smart umbrella – this unique umbrella is capable of reminding you that the ominous-looking clouds above are about to burst at their seams to unleash a torrent of water by simply glowing at the handle. This is made possible by the integrated wireless data-radio chip inside the umbrella itself that tunes into Accuweather.com to pick up your area’s weather forecast. The rate of pulsating determines the probability of rain – if it is left on all the time, that means you definitely have to meet a downpower later on. A 60% probability results in a single pulse each second, and so forth. There is no word on pricing or availability of the Ambient Forecasting Umbrella.
