The ancient Israelites had a pillar of fire to lead them at night (and also to keep them warm while wandering about the wilderness), and modern man has the Cyclone fireplace that ushers a modern take on traditional fireplaces. The Cyclone features dual tubes with fire inside, spinning to form a pillar. I’m not too sure how hot your home can get with two pillars of fire, but you had better keep kids out of reach as their natural curiousity could result in them getting injured. The Cyclone retails for a rather pricey $3,800. One thing’s for sure with the Cyclone – you won’t be able to hold any marshmellow roasting sessions anymore, with a hot chocolate in another hand. That thought itself is a tragedy.
