DEMO 2007 – I love this printing technology: no ink! Users can print photos stored in their cell phones on-the-go with the Zink tiny mobile printer. Zink is a technology that can be embedded directly in any mobile device, like digital cameras, PDAs, mobile phones etc… The first ZINK-enabled products should be launched in late 2007. The critical part of this inkless printing technology lies in the patented paper where embedded dye crystals are activated and colorized by the heat from the Zink printer. Now instead of spending tons of money on the ink cartridge we will do it on the Zink paper!
