Casio recalls CTK-710 keyboards

Boy, and you thought only laptops had problems with their batteries exploding in a great ball of flame. Casio has issued a recall today of approximately 12,000 electronic music keyboards of model CTK-710 due to its potential of overheating when in use. According to Casio, the CTK-710 has already amassed five overheating cases, where two of them resulted in fires. Thankfully no injuries have been reported so far, and Casio wants to ensure that none happen by recalling units with the serial numbers 7030001 through 7040400 and 7041901 through 7043500. Kindly head on to Casio’s site for more information on getting a free repair.
