Sony PSP revamp confirmed

Hmm, Sony seems to be getting its act together with the announcement of the PlayStation Home last week, followed by confirmation of widespread rumors that a spanking new PSP will be on its way. The revamped PSP is nothing more than a physical redesign, and it will come in a smaller and lighter version. Fans of the PSP’s generous screen will be pleased to know that the screen size will remain as it is, which is a good thing. There is still no word on a release date nor the production time frame. Looks like Sony will be following Nintendo’s lead in the world of portable gaming by releasing a hardware refresh in order to keep interest in the console flying high.
