BaselWorld 2007 was the platform Seiko used to unveil its new electronic ink display watch to the world, featuring a design targets women. This bracelet style watch features a high contrast e-ink technology that offers a very easy-to-read display when set to ‘Efficiency’ mode. In the ‘Mystery’ mode, it will experss time in a more imaginative style, where presumably the e-ink’s strengths come into play. The e-ink display is enclosed within a 360-degree continuous sapphire crystal. There is no word on whether these beautiful watches will hit retail stores soon, but I have a feeling they’d make great gifts for anniversaries as well as special occasions.
