
Icron Technologies has recently lifted the veil on the industry’s first wireless USB 2.0 Hub based on the 802.11g radio standard. Known as the WiRanger Cable Free USB 2.0 Hub, this device comprises of a four-port hub and dongle set, giving users the freedom to place USB devices at distances of up to 30m, making it the ideal device to have at home or at the office. It is backwards compatible with USB 1.1 connections and works over wireless, cable, power line, or fiber optics media. The WiRanger USB 2.0 Cable Free Hub will be available soon for the recommended retail price of $395.
