Xbox 360 gets portable monitor

Hori will be releasing the Compact TFT Monitor EX for the Xbox 360, offering gamers the opportunity to hook up a monitor to the Xbox 360 with minimal effort. This 12.1″ monitor outputs 720p and receives signals via analogue RGB. While this isn’t exactly a portable Xbox 360, it definitely enables you to get your gaming fix in places where a normal Xbox 360 setup isn’t viable, such as at convention shows or public places where there is a power outlet. All you need to do is find a bag big enough and have a pair of broad shoulders to carry the Xbox 360 around. The Compact TFT Monitor EX is slated for a July release in Japan for approximately $310 after conversion.
